News and Updates

June 2008

What a day to rejoice as we reflect upon the gift God gave us when He sent His Son.  Over 2000 years ago God came into the world in the person of His Son, born miraculously to a virgin named Mary who was engaged to Joseph. Joseph did not want to make a scene so he planned to call off the engagement in a quiet way but something changed his mind: it was the appearance of an angel that told him that the child was conceived of the Holy Ghost. In other words, it was a supernatural event. This was the beginning of a life that would end in tragedy and through another miracle of God would turn to our salvation so that through the forgiveness of sins through faith in Christ God’s Son we might inherit eternal life, seeing that He was the first to be in the resurrection. His great Love with which He loved us has brought us the true Gift, eternal life in Jesus Christ.
Begin your day by adoring the Christ child but don’ let it be incomplete by not receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
All of us are sinners-Romans 3:23 say, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
We must confess our sin- I John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.”
We can’t earn salvation- Ephesians 2:8, 9 says, “For by grace are you saved and that not of yourselves, not of works lest any man boast.”
To be saved one must receive Christ personally- John 1:12 says, “But as many as received Him gave He the power to become the children of God.”
Therefore if you pray a prayer like this, Christ will come into your heart and be the Lord and Savior of your life and give you the gift of eternal life. Lord Jesus please forgive my sins and come into my life and give me the gift of eternal life. John 16:24 says, “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my, ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full.”
You can experience the fullness of life if you have Christ. In John Jesus said, “I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.”
You can also be sure you are saved. I John 5:11,12 says, God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son; he who has the Son has life…”
Would you consider knowing the Christ of the Bible.
If you Know Him pray for those who do not know Him.

Love,

Wesley and Dianne Harrell
